Boho Wedding Zurich | Cecile & Christian

What a truly special Boho Wedding Zurich this was! When Cecile and Christian told us they would get married in a traditional “Brockenhaus” in Zurich, we weren’t even sure what they were talking about. Turns out, a Brockenhaus is a something like a crossing between a second-hand-shop and a indoor flea market. So yes: These two got married in between retro furniture, old vinyls, grandma’s lamp shades and crazy patterned chairs.

Much like their wedding location of choice, this wedding was everything but ordinary. It was amazing to see how Cecile and Christian perfectly pulled it off to keep their down-to-earth attitude while being so well organized and paying attention to every detail. And in the end this day was all about the things that are really important: Gathering all your loved ones around you for one epic day of making memories!

After the Getting Ready part of the day, we took to the forest where Cecile and Christian saw each other for the first time (you could tell by the look on his face that Christian could hardly believe this beautiful woman was really his to keep!). We then ventured right in the midst of fir trees and fern for our first couple session of the day.

The ceremony was held in the backyard of the “Brockenhaus” and the crew had decorated with countless treasures and keepsakes the location itself provided. Afterwards there was time to gather, clink glasses and take part in the wild ping pong tournament that quickly escalated into a dead serious fight for the title.

After dinner we chased the setting sun all the way up to the look-out point with a perfect view over Zurich, were we captured those last rays of sunlight and watched the whole city get soaked in perfect blue hour light.

The day, as many great days do, ended on the dance floor. One of the amazing byproducts of having a bride that is a dancer is that you do not only get to witness an amazing first dance (dang you two!), but that she also has a big circle of friends that know exactly how to shake it off on the dance floor.

Cecile & Christian, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your big day! We truly had an amazing time alongside your friends and family. And everyone else, enjoy a peek into this awesome Boho Wedding Zurich.
